Rugby Superstar Sean Fitzpatrick is latest legend to talk to CowCorner Events – 24 March

The former rugby superstar Sean Fitzpatrick is the latest sporting legend to talk to CowCorner Events – Tuesday 28th January at Smith and Wollensky in London.

Recognised as one of the greatest rugby players of all time, he made his All Blacks debut in 1986 against France. One year later Sean was part of the team that won the 1987 Rugby World Cup. Incredibly, he missed only two Test matches over the next decade, becoming one of New Zealand’s most capped players ever.

Sean captained the All Blacks a staggering 51 times from 1992-97. In total he played in 121 international matches, including 92 Test matches, clocking up 74 Test match victories. His final international appearance was against Wales on the 29th of November 1997.

Proving his qualities as one of Rugby’s greatest ever leader, Sean was the first New Zealander to captain a Test series win in South Africa. In 1997 he was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit by the Governor-General and in 1999 was named in Rugby World magazine’s Team of the Century.

Now based in the UK where he is an active rugby pundit, newspaper columnist and author of the inspirational book ‘Winning Matters’ discussing how playing the game at the highest level can be applied in the workplace, Cowcorner Events are delighted to be hosting the legend that is Sean Fitzpatrick.

He will be joined by former England Captain and Kent cricketer Chris Cowdrey who will compere the evening.

Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for questions and photos with Sean and Chris.
